Marty Harrington

Marty is a very hands-on type of guy—he likes to get his hands dirty, both literally and figuratively, by personally and actively involving himself in each every project. Why? Because he genuinely loves building stuff!

A graduate of Normandale Community College, Marty started out in 1992 as an apprentice plumber for Plymouth Plumbing. Intrigued with construction, he took on a job building frames for homes, while at the same time, he studied for an MBA at Rasmussen College. In 2001, he started his own company framing new construction houses. In 2005, he achieved his contractor’s license and started Harrington Homes. Marty understands how to build a house from the ground up. As the need for remodeling grew, he started his new company, Harrington Contracting Services.

A family man, Marty’s 20 plus years of experience in the home building industry combined with his easy going demeanor will ensure that your home remodeling experience will be both enjoyable and rewarding.

Mike Harrington

Mike is Marty’s dad. He runs the administrative side of the construction and remodeling business. Thanks to him, Marty now has more time to dedicate himself in the field, personally supervising the projects on hand.

Before joining Harrington Contracting Services. Mike worked for the Star Tribune for 37 years.
